Thank you for visiting our website. I'm going to share our approach and philosophy but before I do I have to say something first.

I feel this is extremely important in the trades industry and not enough people know about this. I'm going to get on my soap box just for a minute. There are alot of fly-by-night companies out there with no liability insurance, no workers compensation insurance, who pay all their employees in cash with no records. They have constant turnover with their employees. Poor service, projects that take forever to finish, inappropriate language on the job, poor attitudes, leaving the job and never coming back after they take your deposit, not cleaning up after the job, etc. 

 

These companies claim they have liability insurance and workers compensation insurance but do not. These outfits are cheaper because their not holding these policies to protect homeowners. These policies are required by law in the State of Illinois for all painting companies. Homeowners should always ask to see a copy of the certificate of insurance. These outfits masquerade as professionals, scam people of their hard earned money, go out of business only to simply rename their business and do it all over again. They seemed alright. They gave me the lowest price. But it turned out to be a nightmare. You knew you picked the wrong company after the first hour they were on the job. I'll never forget what my dad told me when I was growing up- "You always get what you pay for."

Now the good news! There are alot of great local professional painting companies out there. Honeybear Painting is one of them. We are a full service, professional painting company with over a 100 five-star reviews on Google.. We have a million dollar liability insurance and workers compensation policy.  

 

All of our employees are on payroll and pay their fair share of taxes. I treat my employees the same way I want to be treated-with respect. I attend painting seminars on the latest techniques and products. We work together as one team and check our egos at the door. We clean up at the end of the day. We wear a company uniform, and we're happy to fulfill all our customers requests. We check out with the homeowner at the end of each day. We have one goal- that is to do the best job on each individual project as we can while exceeding our customers expectations. I reward our employees for every 5 star review we receive and the reviews reflect our high level of professional service.

We make sure all carpets, furniture and cabinets are protected with tarps and plastic. We do a walk through of our own at the end of each job and then one with the client to insure their satisfaction. Our employees are paid industry standard wages with incentives for 5 star reviews. We work hard for our clients. We're efficient, we're fair, and we're very good. 

 

Our goal as a company is to be the best painting company in the Chicagoland area. We want to provide the best services for the best price.
